The target of the Russian invaders, who on November 3 fired a missile at the soldiers of the 128th separate mountain assault Transcarpathian brigade, could have been its commander Dmitry Lysyuk.
Communications Advisor of the State Bureau of Investigation Tatyana Sapyan spoke about this on the air of the United News telethon.
Answering a question about the progress of the investigation in the State Bureau of Investigation, she noted that investigators assume such a version with the brigade commander.

According to Sapyan, Dmitry Lysyuk did not have time for the military formation that day “by coincidence.”
“From the new details, I can report that today the investigation has an assumption that the brigade commander, who did not have time to form up due to an accidental coincidence, was also a likely target,” she emphasized.
Sapyan clarified that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is conducting an internal official investigation, within the framework of which the details of awarding military personnel near the front line are being studied.
This investigation will be supplemented by materials from the criminal proceedings being investigated by the State Bureau of Investigation. It was started under Part 4 of Art. 425 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (negligent attitude of a military official to service).

On November 3, in the village of Zarechnoye, Zaporozhye region, military personnel of the 128th brigade gathered for awards on the occasion of the Day of Missile Forces and Artillery.
When the fighters arrived at the scene, Russian troops attacked them with an Iskander-M missile.

Defense Minister Rustem Umerov ordered an investigation into the tragedy. On November 14, he provided details.
According to the minister, the main inspection of the Ministry of Defense established minutely all the circumstances of the missile attack on the military of the 128th brigade.
Umerov confirmed that on that day the fighters were gathered in the courtyard of the house for awards. At the same time, all camouflage rules were ignored. More than a dozen cars were parked near the military formation.
At that time, a Russian reconnaissance drone was in the sky. However, no security measures were taken at the award ceremony.
