On the afternoon of December 31, Russia cynically launched another missile attack on Ukraine. However, not all of its deadly warheads crossed the border of Ukraine.

How many missiles were shot down by the Ukrainian air defense forces
In general, the Ukrainian defenders managed to destroy 12 cruise missiles in three regions of our state. We are talking about:
- Kyiv,
- Zhytomyr,
- Khmelnitsky region.
In addition, an enemy UAV “Orlan-10” was shot down in the Kyiv region, which carried out aerial reconnaissance during a missile attack and tried to identify the positions of our air defense, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said.
Massive missile attack on December 31: what known
- The notification of another massive missile attack sounded around 13:00 on December 31st. First, the explosions were heard in the Kyiv region. The mayor of Kyiv subsequently confirmed the explosions in the city, and also said that at least one person was killed and 20 others were injured.
- Also, reports of enemy missiles appeared in Khmelnytsky. There, as a result of hits, at least 7 people were injured, three of whom are now in serious condition.
- Nikolaev, where civilian infrastructure was damaged as a result of arrivals, did not bypass Russian missiles. However, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
- On December 31, Russian rockets also flew to Zaporozhye. the invaders damaged private houses. Among the four victims is a 14-year-old girl.
