What happened
Vasily Kuzmin was in Kolomna for rehabilitation. His friend Miroslav Fedkov said that on the evening of August 27, near one of the shops in Kolomna, a dispute arose between them and the guys standing on the playground when a serviceman made remarks to the company for obscene words.
After that, a scuffle began and Vasily lost consciousness. Brother of the military Taras Kuzmin, now also at war, said that he was hit with brass knuckles on the back of the head.
The unconscious Vasily Kuzmin was hospitalized. Dinner On August 27, doctors called his mother and said that her son was unconscious in a medical facility.
When we arrived, he was examined. They did a full MRI. There was a kill in the back. Later I was told that this was a professional blow of a professional boxer, master of sports, who is engaged in awards here, in Kolomna. In general, I would like to take away these insignia from him, because if he is an athlete, he has no right to beat people, especially soldiers, – said the mother of the fighter Arina Kuzmin.

On August 28, Vasily Kuzmin was paralyzed on the left side, and after an MRI, a brain hemorrhage occurred. It was dangerous for his life to transport the soldier to the regional center, so the doctors called in a neurosurgeon from the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Hospital and performed the first operation in Kolomna. On August 31, the man was operated on again.
According to his wife Kristina Kuzmin, Vasily Kuzmin is now in serious condition, the temperature is high, and the pressure is low.
Vasily always fought for everyone, defended. And just like that, “let down” to children who are engaged in boxing, karate and do not understand where they can fight: on the street or in the gym where they practice. There are some specific merits, awards. I think that it is now wrong to “get away with it” when a man is in a very serious condition in the hospital,” she said.
The police opened criminal proceedings
Communication inspector of the National Police of the region Anna Sosyak said that criminal proceedings were initiated on this fact. All participants in the conflict were identified and a pre-trial investigation is underway.
