In Poland, a sound wave from a low flyby of a MiG fighter- 29 damaged the roofs of several houses. This happened on Thursday, June 20.

It is known that locally the incident occurred in northern Poland near the village of Shalenets, near the city of Malbork. The corresponding statement was published on the social network X (formerly Twitter) of the High Command of the Polish Armed Forces.

In Poland, the MiG-29 damaged several houses

The Polish Armed Forces noted that the incident occurred at about 10 a.m. on June 20.

MiG-29 fighter from 22 th tactical aviation base made a training flight and broke the sound barrier, flying near a populated area at an altitude of about 300 meters.

As a result of exposure to sound waves damaged the roofs of several houses. The military police department in Malbork and the State Commission for the Investigation of Aviation Incidents are carrying out actions provided for by the relevant procedures, the army noted.

They also added that they will compensate for the restoration of damaged property.
