Bad weather in the Sumy region damaged houses and tore off the roofs of at least 20 buildings. Unfortunately, as a result, 4 people were injured, as well as a six-month-old child.

Dmitry Zhivitsky, head of the Sumy OVA, reported the relevant information. According to him, bad weather swept through the city of Buryn, Sumy region.

Houses were destroyed and roofs were torn off . A lot of destruction in households, trees felled. Part of the community was left without electricity,” Zhyvitsky said.

According to him, as of 18:54 on September 18, rescuers were removing people from the rubble. It is preliminary known that:

• 4 people with minor bodily injuries;
• 1 woman was hospitalized in the Konotop Central District Hospital;
• a six-month-old child was injured, who also taken to the hospital.
