Duda tops Poles' trust rating after three-month break – survey

< p>The current President of Poland Andrzej Duda returned to first place in the rating of trust in public figures after a three-month break.

In September, 44.1% of respondents trusted him (28.4% — definitely, 15. 7% — most likely yes), according to the results of the IBRiS survey for the Onet publication. That is, compared to August — an increase of 5.6%.

At the same time, 48.3% of Poles surveyed have a negative perception of the politician, another 7.6% — have a neutral opinion.

Second place in the ranking went to the mayor of Warsaw Rafal Trzaskowski, whom 38.7% of respondents trust (17.4% — definitely, 21.3% — rather yes), which is 0.1% less than in August. In addition, 42.3% of respondents expressed distrust of the politician, another 18.2% were neutral towards him.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki closes the top three. According to the latest survey, it received the support of 36.7% of respondents, that is, an increase of 4.4% over the month. Another 55.4% expressed distrust and 7.3% were neutral towards the head of government.

Parliamentary elections will be held in Poland on October 15. Poles will elect 460 deputies and 100 senators for four-year terms.
