Duda wants to see Ukraine in the EU/Channel 24 Collage

Duda's tour of Europe in support of Ukraine
Polish President Andrzej Duda left on a tour of the countries of Southern Europe. There he will meet with local politicians and convince them to grant Ukraine candidate status for EU membership.
The trip was supposed to be joint with Slovak President Zuzana Caputova. Unfortunately, she passed a positive test for coronavirus, so she was forced to stay at home.
The first country Duda will visit will be Portugal. There he will meet with Prime Minister António Costa. After that, the Polish president will travel to Italy, where he will persuade President Sergio Matarello to make a positive decision for Ukraine.
The final destination of Duda's tour will be Romania, where he will take part in the Bucharest Nine summit. In addition to Ukraine's membership in the EU, Duda wants to discuss the issue of Ukrainian grain exports.
We will talk about how to create international pressure for this grain export to be successful, and how to overcome this problem. – said Duda.
Recall that the European Parliament recommends granting Ukraine the status of a candidate for EU membership. The decision of the EU will be known soon. However, reports began to appear that we can only get the status of a potential candidate. The issue of Ukraine's status of joining the EU should be resolved in the near future.
