Dubbed the war of drones: Gumenyuk on the actions of Russian occupiers in the Black Sea

Russian troops are trying to master all possible elements to wage a full-scale war against Ukraine. In particular, we are talking about surface and underwater drones to seize the advantage in the Black Sea.

This was stated by the head of the joint coordination press center of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, Natalya Gumenyuk, on the air of the national information telethon United News.

— It has already been dubbed the drone war. Gradually they master all possible variants of the elements where they can be applied. These include air, ground, surface, and underwater drones. It cannot be ruled out that this trend will become more active on the water. The fact that we state that the enemy’s ship group in a collapsed composition is gradually patrolling where there is still a chimera of security for them, — said Gumenyuk.

OK South press secretary noted that Russian troops have not recently moved to the northwestern part of the Black Sea because they are afraid of a strike from the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

— They are gradually moving along the coast, which they still consider theirs (I’m talking about the temporarily occupied Crimea). But they no longer move to the northwestern part of the Black Sea, because they are quite restless there. They put three or two units on duty in the Black Sea, one — covers the surface situation in Azov. And the last time the launch vehicles went on combat duty was at the end of November, that is, we have not seen it for three weeks now. But you can’t promise it. They have the opportunity to use them from the distance where they are now hidden, — noted Gumenyuk.
