On the night of July 9, Russians complained of a massive drone attack. Thus, explosions were heard in the Rostov, Volgograd, Kursk, Astrakhan and Voronezh regions. As it later became known, the GUR and SBU drones hit a number of important enemy targets.

Among them are the Akhtyubinsk military airfield in the Astrakhan region, a 500-kilowatt electrical substation in the Rostov region, and an oil depot in Kalachi-on-Don in the Volgograd region.

For example, in the Rostov region, drones hit the Rostovskaya electrical substation with a capacity of 500 kilowatts. The damage is visible on satellite images published online. And although the image quality is poor, the huge spot where the substation once stood is clearly visible.

It is known that this substation is located near the village of Yudino in the Rostov region. It is located about 50 kilometers from the Ukrainian border and more than 250 from the front line.
