There is a new emergency in Russia – the Samarov region was attacked by drones. The attacks hit oil refineries. Fires broke out at two refineries at once.

Russian telegram channels report this. “Bright” videos have already been published online.

“UAVs attacked two enterprises at once in the Samara region,” the message says.

It is noted that the attack occurred at 6 a.m. local time. The first drone attacked the territory of the oil refinery plant in Syzran. A fire started there.

“The area of the fire is 500 square meters. Emergency services are on the scene,” the Russians add.

At the same time, another enterprise that was attacked by drones is Novokuibyshevsky Oil Refinery. A fire started there too, but it was already extinguished.

The local administration of Syzran confirmed the information about the fire, they traditionally say that there were no casualties as a result of the “attack.”< /p>

“This morning a fire occurred on the territory of the Syzran Oil Refinery. There were no casualties. Emergency services are working on the site. The company's personnel have been evacuated. The causes of the fire are being established,” the administration reported.

Telegram channels also write that the refinery belongs to Rosneft.

“In Syzran, the local Rosneft refinery is on fire after an attack drone. Again under attack by AVT-6, as the author of one of the videos says. This is an installation of two distillation columns – the heart of the plant, where oil is processed,” the message says.

Attacks on oil refineries are frequent

  • A few days ago, drones attacked an oil refinery in Ryazan. A fire broke out.
  • A day earlier, drones also attacked Russian cities. An oil depot and a refinery were under attack.
  • This is quite good news for Ukraine, because, as the Main Intelligence Directorate explained, explosions at Russian oil depots are holding back fuel supplies to the Russian occupiers in Ukraine.
