Drones attacked the Smolensk region: the oil depot is on fire Irina Pundor

A restless night on December 31 for residents of the Smolensk region. They heard explosions, because a local oil depot came under attack by drones.

The attack on the oil depot in Yartsevo was also confirmed by the head of the district, Roman Zakharov. He noted that the facility attacked was an energy and fuel complex. This was reported by 24 Channel with reference to Russian media.

Locals heard a dozen explosions

The fact that these were landings is also indicated by the dozens of explosions that frightened local residents. The Russians filmed a video of the probable fire and posted it on the Internet. The footage shows a powerful flame rising several meters into the air.

It is interesting that the regional governor decided to stick to the traditional Russian theme – “Air defense shot down everything.” It seems that he fell unsuccessfully on the oil depot fragment of a downed drone, which caused a large-scale fire. As a result, there was a fuel leak, which is what is burning. There is also unrest in other regions of Russia, the occupation monitoring channels are panicking. It was so loud in the city of Orel and near Rostov. Now the local authorities are keeping quiet about the possible landings and destruction.
