Gas processing plant attacked by drone in Russia

The drone attack on Russian territory occurred on the night of February 3, 2025. At first, many reports of explosions came from Volgograd, where the target was apparently the same oil refinery as a few days ago.

Then the mayor of the city of Akhtubinsk wrote on his social networks about the danger of drones, this is in the Astrakhan region. He called on people to take the bare necessities with them and hide in rooms without windows. At the same time, it became known that the “Carpet” plan was introduced at the airports of Astrakhan, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Saratov and Ulyanovsk.

Soon, Russian channels reported that kamikaze drones had attacked fuel and energy complex facilities in the Astrakhan region. In particular, the local gas processing plant was damaged – a fire started there.

Governor Igor Babushkin later confirmed the fire without casualties, which, oddly enough, did not occur during the fall of debris, but of an entire UAV. Unfortunately, there is no decent content yet that would show us this fire.
