How Romania reacted

After another fall of drone debris on Romanian territory, Bucharest again summoned the head of the Russian diplomatic mission. The Romanian Foreign Ministry called Russia's actions an irresponsible escalation. The department called for an end to regular attacks against the Ukrainian population and civilian infrastructure.

In connection with the discovery on September 13 of new fragments of a drone similar to those used by the Russian army, scattered over several tens of meters in Tulcea, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses a strong protest against another violation of Romanian airspace, the message says.

In addition, Bucharest stated that he had informed NATO. Consultations with allies continue on the situation on the border between Romania and Ukraine.
