“DRG attack” in the Bryansk region: Zhdanov called the main sign of Russia's involvement

by alex

On Thursday, March 2, an incident occurred in the Bryansk region in which Russia tried to blame Ukraine. However, the Russians are looking for the culprits in the wrong place.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov told about this in a stream on his YouTube channel, Channel 24 reports. He recalled that representatives of the “Russian Volunteer Corps” recorded a video with a statement that they crossed the border between Russia and Ukraine and entered the villages of Sushany and Lyubechany.

Representatives of this corps said that they allegedly began to liberate Russia from the dictatorship of Vladimir Putin and called on Russians to join this struggle.

Classic False Flag Operation

Zhdanov stressed that Ukraine had nothing to do with this incident.

All the news about the so-called DRG allegedly entering the Bryansk region from the territory of Ukraine is a classic version of an operation under a false flag. The first and most important sign of this lies in the reaction of Russia itself.

According to Zhdanov, as soon as Ukraine takes part in certain events or generates them, then in Russia they immediately declare: “Nothing happened. Everything is fine.”

As an example, he recalled the “cotton” at military airfields in the Crimea. At that time, the occupiers claimed violations of security rules, fires and any other causes of incidents, but not a single word was heard about the involvement of Ukraine.

“In such cases, you can immediately assume that we are involved in this. If Russia is hiding something, then it's us. And if something is put up in Russia with pomp, then we definitely have nothing to do with this ,” Zhdanov emphasized. .

Manuals were not sent to Russian propagandists

According to him, Russian propagandists overdid it by highlighting the fake work of “Ukrainian saboteurs.”

  • First, in Russia they said that “saboteurs” allegedly fired at a school bus, as a result of which a girl died. The military expert noted that this is very reminiscent of the theses about the “boy in panties” that the Russians disseminated in 2014.
  • Later they wrote that the girl did not die, but was only wounded.
  • Then it turned out that there were no attacks on the bus at all.

And then there was a video and a statement from a certain “Russian Volunteer Corps”, which no one had ever heard of.

“How did they get there? Where did they come from? I think that the people of Russia would be better off asking their FSB about it ,” Zhdanov said.

According to him, probably, manuals about a fictitious incident were not sent to all propagandists. Or they were written by different employees of the special propaganda department of the FSB. Hence the inaccuracies in the coverage of the so-called “provocation”.

Putin did not react to the “terror attack” as propagandists expected

The military expert noted that all this has even reached the Kremlin.

Vladimir Putin said it was a terrorist attack. That is, a strike on a residential building in Zaporozhye is not a terrorist act in Putin's understanding. After all, it was a Russian missile that flew there. But those who allegedly entered, and it is not known whether they were shooting or not, this is a terrorist attack,” Zhdanov said.

He added that in the video, the same representatives of the “Russian Volunteer Corps” say that they do not shoot at civilians and do not take anyone hostage.

The military expert added that Russian propagandists expected an emergency meeting of the Russian Security Council on March 2, at which Putin would make a tough statement. But nothing like that happened that day.

“Only employees of the Russian special services could do this”

Zhdanov noted that no one could cross the border from the territory of Ukraine.

Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions compete among themselves in who will strengthen the border more strongly. They have covering troops stationed there, constantly conducting a fiery action on our territory. What DRG? How could she get in there? the military expert said.

He added that the Russians should look for the roots and perpetrators of the incident only on their own territory.

“Only employees of the Russian special services could do this,” Zhdanov stressed.

The incident in the Bryansk region: briefly

  • On the morning of March 2, people in Russia began to say that an alleged “Ukrainian DRG” had infiltrated villages near the border. They came up with various false stories about the death of people and the injury of a child.
  • Moreover, Russian propagandists were confused about the incident and constantly called different versions of the incident and a different number of wounded.
  • Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, noted that Ukrainian fighters do not intend to interfere in this “strategically important” backwoods of Russia.
  • People's Deputy of Ukraine, Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Roman Kostenko suggested that this could be a provocation by the Kremlin to limit the rights of Russians
