On October 10, Russian invaders massively shelled the cities of Ukraine. The State Emergency Service showed a photo of the consequences of missile strikes.

Power supply situation

As of 07:00 on October 11, 301 settlements remain without power. In particular, in the following regions:

  • Kyiv;
  • Lviv;
  • Sumy;
  • Ternopil;
  • Khmelnytsky.

22 power plants operate to provide electricity:

  • 15 of them support electricity in healthcare facilities
  • 7 power plants are involved in the maintenance of critical infrastructure.

Power engineers report that they have resumed power supply in 3571 settlements in the Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Lvov, Kyiv and Khmelnytsky regions.

Massive attack on Ukraine on October 10

  • At 08:30 “arrived” in the capital. The missiles hit the Shevchenkovsky and Solomensky districts of the city of Kyiv, this information was confirmed by local authorities. Subsequently, the enemy attacked other areas of the capital – civilian infrastructure suffered. In the evening it became known that there were casualties among the civilian population.
  • During the air raid at about 9 o'clock, explosions were heard in Khmelnitsky, Zhytomyr and Ternopil. Local authorities reported that air defense was working.

  • The Ukrainian authorities immediately reacted to the situation. President Volodymyr Zelensky recorded an urgent video message in which he said that the Russians were attacking the power grid and wanted to destroy the Ukrainians; and Foreign Minister Kuleba said that he was returning from a tour of Africa to contact international partners on the situation.
