Donald Trump has officially become a candidate for President of the United States. He was nominated by the Republican Party.

The politician received enough votes at the Republican Party convention on Monday, July 15 in Milwaukee. By the way, Trump has already decided on a candidate for vice president.

Donald Trump overcame the required threshold thanks to votes from his home state of Florida.

The politician announced that he had chosen Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his candidate for vice president. He has consistently opposed aid to Ukraine.

In 2023, Vance, along with 18 other Republicans, signed a letter to Biden calling for an end to “unlimited aid.” In addition, he threatened to block such packages.

Vance also absurdly stated that Ukraine “will likely have to cede some territory” to Russia to stop hostilities.
