Russia continues to take advantage of the temporarily seized Crimea for its war against Ukraine. Medics from the occupied peninsula are sent en masse to the front.
The press service of the Representation of the Ukrainian President in Crimea shared the latest information. According to them, medical personnel are sent to the war in Ukraine allegedly “voluntarily”.
Russia has already sent more than 30 doctors from Crimea
The involvement of Crimean doctors by Russia in the war in Ukraine became known from open sources. The Russian invaders began “voluntary dispatch”. The first 30 doctors have already been sent.
The medical staff ended up in separate parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, temporarily captured by the Russians. Moreover, doctors were also sent to the so far occupied and blocked Mariupol.
Let us note that even earlier the mission warned about the plans of the occupation administrations to attract doctors from the temporarily occupied Crimea to the war against Ukraine.< /p>
This became known in early April. The fact is that in the hospitals of the Ukrainian Donbass and Lugansk region there are not enough qualified personnel because of the war. A whole covert mobilization of doctors from the occupied peninsula began.
Note! The invaders launched a whole campaign among local doctors so that they would go to work in Donbass during stubborn hostilities. Russia urgently needed people who could provide medical services to wounded Russian soldiers.
The representative office of the Ukrainian president in Crimea calls on the citizens of Ukraine in the so far occupied Crimea not to declare any “voluntary actions” for the Russians at all. Doctors are only “manpower” for the needs of the Kremlin.
Seriously ill children are forcibly taken to Crimea
Also, volunteer organizations controlled by the occupation administrations report on the illegal export of seriously ill Ukrainian children. The mission managed to find out about 3 children who were taken from the Melitopol region to the occupied Crimea for allegedly “treatment”. leaving certain districts of Kherson, Zaporozhye and Donetsk regions do not allow them to receive the necessary examination and treatment, – noted in the Representation.
