Russia continues to dump military equipment into Belarus. In addition, Russia is planning flight exercises from Belarus to keep Ukrainian troops near the Belarusian borders.
This opinion was voiced by the head of the Center for Military Legal Research, military expert Alexander Musienko to Channel 24 . Earlier, the Belarusian oppositionist described the events in the country as preparations for war.
Interesting Brest training ground
Musienko said that there is an interesting training ground near Brest, where activity has been observed over the past few months. It is located near the border with Poland and the Volyn region. Therefore, it is interesting in this way that Russia is preparing an offensive against Poland or Volhynia?
The answer here is really not obvious, because there are different scenarios of a possible escalation against the West from the territory of Belarus. In Russia they were worked out. Russia needs someone from the West to sit down at the negotiating table with it, so that Russia is finally noticed, as they think, – said the head of the Center for Military Legal Research.
He added that Putin wants negotiations with Biden, but Biden does not. Therefore, Putin can push any of the NATO countries, in particular Poland.
Offensive from Brest to Ukraine
According to the military expert, there are three roads from Brest to Volyn, along which military equipment can move. There are also small roads, but this is a wooded swampy area, in addition, it is also mined. Also, exercises of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are constantly held here, there are out-of-town buildings, fortifications.
“Everything is for defense and in order to give a warm welcome to the enemy. It is possible that they will dare, because no one in the Russian command thinks logically and rationally. If they dare, they will receive a fairly serious rebuff, and it will end in nothing,” Musienko noted.
As he noted, the goal of what is happening in Belarus is to keep the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the northern borders of Ukraine. Perhaps even provoke the overturning of additional forces here. Thus, Russia wants to prevent the de-occupation of the South and the land corridor to Crimea, or divert the attention of the Armed Forces of Ukraine here and prepare an offensive in another direction.

Flight exercises of Belarus and Russia
The head of the Center for Military Legal Studies continued that with the help of flight exercises from Belarus, Russia can hope to strike at Ukraine. However, we are improving our air defense, the situation is not the same as on February 24th. Do not forget that Russia promised Belarus to help train pilots and modernize aircraft.
These aircraft should potentially be equipped with nuclear warheads. That is, there are also exercises connected with this, – the military expert emphasized.
