After the plane crash in Yeysk, the hospital prepared 8 operating rooms, as well as 100 oxygen beds. At the same time, according to the official version, only about 20 people were injured.
In recent reports, the Russian media claim that 4 people allegedly died, 21 were injured and 6 more were missing, channel 24 informs.
For 20 victims – 100 beds with oxygen
Despite the fact that the Russians talk about relatively few victims, the hospital was prepared on a large scale to receive the victims. In particular, 8 operating theaters, 100 oxygen beds for moderate patients and 11 for severe patients were allocated.
Moreover, 8 teams of surgeons, 4 traumatologists and 5 resuscitators went on duty. There are also 14 ambulance teams.
How many people were actually injured
Local authorities and the media report a different number of victims. Interestingly, over time, their number does not increase, but decreases. For example, at first they wrote about six dead, after 2 hours – about three, then four were reported. In addition, it is reported that three children aged 8-10 were injured.
Note that a military plane crashed on a residential building in the evening, when most of the locals appeared to be at home. Therefore, the number of victims may actually be higher. However, Russian authorities may try to hide the real numbers in order to reassure their citizens.
By the way, panic has already begun in Yeysk. A video has been released of a local resident filming a fire and screaming in desperation that she doesn't know what's going on. She asks “why is this happening”. The Ukrainians explained to her that this was a war started by the country's president.
