Georgia continues its 6th day of major protests against the Georgian Dream and the government-instigated statements about suspending the European integration process until 2028. This evening, protesters were also dispersed from the streets with water cannons and tear gas.

Journalists reported that at around 8:00 p.m. in the center of Tbilisi, participants in the anti-government protest began to gather again. At first, the situation near the country's parliament was calm: protesters launched fireworks into the air and sang the Georgian anthem.

Earlier, information appeared that stores with pyrotechnics were closed throughout Georgia due to protests and their active use by demonstrators to counter special forces.

A few hours later, it became known that the parliament building was being bombarded with fireworks. Protesters in the immediate vicinity of the legislative body were doused with water by special forces.

Already at 23:27 it became known that people were being dispersed from the streets where the actions were taking place in Tbilisi. Protesters were pushed back from the square in front of the Georgian parliament, many were detained. Special forces used a water cannon and tear gas. Journalists went on to write that the special forces did not take active action against the demonstrators. Most of the protesters were in the area from the Rustaveli Theater to Republic Square. However, the confrontation with fireworks and water continued.

At about 3:30 a.m. local time, journalists began writing that special forces were trying to encircle demonstrators on Rustaveli Avenue. Before that, local media reported that several police cars were approaching the scene.
