< p>The SBU counterintelligence detained an FSB agent in Dnepr who was collecting intelligence on the movements of Ukrainian Armed Forces units involved in the counter-offensive in the Eastern direction.
The invaders needed this information to plan combat operations and sabotage aimed at slowing down the advance of the Forces defense in the areas of Vugledar and Novoselki.
Before going on the so-called mission, the attacker dressed in the military uniform of Ukrainian defendersand drove around the city, photographing objects.

The Russian agent tracked the routes of trains with the latest military equipment, weapons and ammunition, and also tried to detect the combat positions of the Ukrainian air defense.
He transmitted the information received to the curator from the FSB through a messenger in the form of text messages and media files. For each completed task, the agent received a monetary reward. The funds were transferred to the bank card using cryptocurrency transactions.
A Russian agent was captured while performing a regular mission near one of the strategic sites in the Dnieper.
Evidence of correspondence with the FSB was found in his mobile phone, as well as cartridges for automatic weapons.
The suspect was declared under suspicion under h. 2 tbsp. 111 UKU(high treason committed under martial law). In addition, he may be accused of illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives (Article 263 of the Criminal Code).
Now detained in custody, he faces life imprisonment.
