He emphasized that this is one of the priorities amid the increase in Russian attacks. In addition, the parties also discussed the purchase of US weapons, joint defense production, and localization in Ukraine.
Zelensky thanked for participating in the Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine, in which the general leads the American delegation.

The head of state reported that the parties focused in detail on sanctions pressure.
“We understand that we need tougher restrictions against Russian energy, and especially secondary sanctions against buyers of Russian oil. We hope that the bill of Senators Graham and Blumenthal will be promoted in the US Congress,” Zelensky added.
This is something that can undoubtedly make Russia think more about peace, the president emphasized.
In addition, Zelensky thanked US President Donald Trump, both parties and the entire American people for their help and support.
