On April 22, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. Politicians discussed support for Ukraine, Ukrainians and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the meeting, Shmihal stressed that sanctions, finances and weapons are now the key components of Ukraine's victory.
He told Blinken about Russia's war crimes against civilians, constant shelling, destroyed residential buildings, and also about how how heroically the Armed Forces of Ukraine resist the Russian invasion.
Ukraine needs modern weapons

The Prime Minister also said that Ukraine is counting on US support in financing humanitarian and social programs for the population.
Sanction policy against Russia
Shmihal noted that together with the United States, Ukraine will intensively coordinate the sanctions policy.
During a meeting with Blinken, he called for disconnecting all Russian banks from SWIFT, and also recognizing Russia as a country sponsoring terrorism . This will be a powerful political signal for the whole world,” the Ukrainian prime minister said.

Food security and support for Ukraine's accession to the EU
