Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov thanked technology companies for their conscious decisions.
He spoke about the new digital blockade of Russia, which brings the victory of our country closer. After all, Fedorov is convinced that, among other things, the digital blockade will force the Russians to protest.
The Ministry of Digital Development has been actively dealing with this issue lately and urges companies to leave the market of the aggressor country, and IT specialists along with them .
Who joined the digital blockade
- Giants Apple and Google severed ties with Russian Mir payment cards. Apple is removing world maps as an option in Apple Pay. Apple is expected to remove existing cards from the service in the coming days. At the same time, Google suspended a pilot plan that would allow customers to use Mir cards with Google Pay in Russia.
- Terrasoft forever leaves the markets of Russia and Belarus. In addition, the company has already invested more than UAH 10 million in support of the Ukrainian army and volunteer projects.
- The Russian Internet holding VK was left without access to Microsoft servers. The company closed access, which caused problems in the work of the Mail.ru mail service. Users can no longer view files attached to emails.
- Russian esports club Team Spirit (world champions in Dota 2) is moving from Moscow to Belgrade. The team also refuses to expand the infrastructure in Moscow.
- The Spotify service has completely ceased its activities in Russia. Previously, he only suspended the sale of the Premium subscription in the aggressor country in connection with the withdrawal of Visa and Mastercard from the country. Now Spotify has left the market.

Earlier, Fedorov explained that the main task of the digital blockade is to awaken active people in Russia. They will either leave the country due to the inability to earn money in it, or go out to protest, or simply express their opinion about what the aggressor country is actually doing in Ukraine.
