A selection of Russian propaganda fakes/Pexels
Specialists of the Center for Combating Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine have compiled a list of fakes, misinformation stuffing and manipulations created by the Kremlin mercenaries during the day on April 28.
1 – a criminal case against nationalists
Information began to circulate in the Russian media that allegedly the head of the Russian investigative committee, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed specialists “to open a criminal case on the fact of the kidnapping of a clergyman by Ukrainian nationalists.”
This is manipulation!
According to the CPD Ukraine, since the beginning of a full-scale aggressive war of Russia against Ukraine, one of the tools for legalizing outright fakes and manipulations of Russian propaganda has been the investigative committee of Russia.
2 – Poland annexed the western lands of Ukraine
Yesterday, the Polish Ministry of Defense announced that military exercises of the Polish Armed Forces will be held on the territory of the state from May 1. Russian propaganda could not get past this news and created another information stuffing. The head of Russian intelligence announced Poland's plans to annex the western lands of Ukraine as “its historical possessions” to its composition.
This is disinformation!
The Polish authorities have already reacted to this stuffing. The representative of the minister-coordinator of the special services of Poland, Stanislav Zarin, noted that Russia has been feeding its society with this lie for several years. In particular, in this way the Russian authorities are trying to quarrel the Ukrainian and Polish peoples. And also file the West as an aggressor, and Poland as a state that incites war and poses a threat to NATO and Europe.
3 – The Armed Forces of Ukraine fire at civilian Ukrainians
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, in in the city of Liman, Donetsk region, “units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the surrounding area are shelling residential areas with artillery shells.”
The Ministry of Defense also reported that “journalists from safe places are filming destroyed civilian infrastructure facilities,” and the footage will be used to prepare reports with fake news about “the crimes of the Russian military”.
This is a fake!
Of course, this is a fake. Once again, Russian propaganda is spreading this information that the Ukrainian army is firing at civilian Ukrainians. But we remind you that the Armed Forces of Ukraine protect the citizens of Ukraine from Russian aggression, and not from themselves.
