Russian occupiers are trying to do everything to make residents of the temporarily occupied territories in the South give up hryvnia, but no one appreciates the currency of the aggressor country. Rubles do not take root even despite threats and fines.
According to Channel 24 sources in the Ukrainian special services, despite several months of vigorous activity by the FSB and punitive detachments, attempts by the invaders to intensify propaganda, the residents of Kherson refuse to agree to the rules of the game imposed on them. In fact, Putin's Hordes failed to impose Russian currency on Ukrainians and generally failed to completely cope with the task of suppressing local residents.
Therefore, the invaders had to increase repression and pressure on businesses that have not yet closed in the temporarily occupied territories.< /p>
Shops do not want to buy and sell for rubles
- Guerrilla resistance and a general unwillingness to live under the heel of Russia every day lead the occupiers to more serious problems.
- The defenders of Ukraine are informed about every movement of the invaders, the equipped warehouse and the headquarters of the Russian army. The occupiers themselves are constantly told on the streets that they are not welcome here.
- However, despite the outright failure and rejection of the aggressor country, the Russian military continues to put pressure on people and implement the tactics chosen by Putin.
- At the same time, for some reason, the Russian special services recognized the trend towards a total refusal of people to use rubles as the most serious problem in the integration of the region.
- Even those receiving one-time “help” from the invaders immediately try to exchange 10 thousand rubles for hryvnias.
Because of this, the curators of the occupation of the region ordered their troops to deal with the introduction of rubles and, in general, gradually withdraw the hryvnia from circulation. To cope with this task, the local FSB did not come up with anything better than to ban trade for business without the permission of the occupation “administration”.
Entrepreneurs are taxed for the opportunity to work
In order for rubles to fully function in the Kherson region, the invaders began to identify entrepreneurs who prevent their turnover. Active actions to search for “unreliable” on the part of the occupiers were recorded by the Ukrainian special services in Nova Kakhovka.
The so-called “authority” of the city issued an “order” prohibiting businesses from operating without the appropriate “documents”. Such “permits” can only be obtained for cash, which, of course, ends up in the pockets of collaborators and Russians. The cost of a piece of paper with the seal of the military administration was estimated at 500 to 5 thousand hryvnia.
The armed raiding groups issue “permits” directly on the spot. For the funds received, the invaders issue a “receipt” and a piece of paper with the validity period of the “permit”. At the same time, in case of any refusal to accept rubles, shops will deprive them of the right to work. In fact, the invaders imposed tribute on entrepreneurs simply for the opportunity to work, as in the best traditions of the 90s.
