< p _ngcontent-sc100="" class="news-annotation">The deputies of the deceased head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky wrote their resignations. It soon became known that at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers it was decided to dismiss them.
On Tuesday, February 7, the Verkhovna Rada, by a majority of votes, decided to appoint Igor Klymenko as Minister of the Interior. It was expected that the deputies of the former head of Monastyrsky's department should resign in accordance with the legal procedure. In a comment on Channel 24, the press service of the ministry confirmed that the deputies had already written the corresponding statements on February 10.
Who exactly was fired by the government
After some time, the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnichuk, officially confirmed that the government had dismissed 5 deputy heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Actually, we are talking about such officials:- Mary Andranikovna Akopyan;
- Igor Pavlovich Bondarenko;
- Sergey Mikhailovich Goncharov;
- Drapyaty Bogdan Evgenievich;
- Pavlichenko Ekaterina Vladimirovna.
At the same time, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that this procedure is legal. It is expected that the government will soon decide on the appointment of the deputies of the newly appointed Minister Klymenko.
This is a legal procedure prescribed in the law of Ukraine on central executive authorities. Everything is spelled out in article 9. Deputy ministers resign, – stated the press secretary in a commentary on Channel 24.
