As noted in the article, in the border region of Kursk, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated one of the highest military officials of the Russian Federation – Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Mikhail Gudkov, who had the title of the so-called Hero of Russia.
At first, information about his death was spread by a number of pro-Kremlin Telegram channels, but later the fact of his liquidation was confirmed by the governor of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako.
“Gudkov is the former commander of the 155th separate guards marine brigade of the Pacific Fleet. In March 2025, he took up the post of deputy commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy with the rank of major general,” Kozhemyako noted.
According to available information, Gudkov's “faithful comrade” Nariman Shikhaliev also died. No other details of the circumstances of the death have been disclosed yet.
The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the fact of the liquidation of the Deputy Head of the Russian Navy. According to their version, Gudkov died “during combat operations in one of the border areas of the Kursk region.”
Let us recall that in the temporarily occupied Berdyansk of the Zaporizhia region, collaborator Mikhail Gritsai was shot dead.
He is accused of treason and involvement in war crimes.
