The Danish government and parliamentary majority have agreed on additional funding for the Ukraine support fund of DKK 2.3 billion (€308 million) in 2023.
According to the Danish Ministry of Defense, about 23.5 billion kroner (€3.15 billion) will be allocated for 2025-2027. In total, DKK 60.4 billion will be allocated under the Fund for military support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during 2023-2028.
The department notes that additional funding will ensure that Denmark reaches the target of at least 2% of GDP for defense spending agreed upon by NATO member countries.
