Malyar said that as soon as the Western countries expressed their clear common position on military assistance to Ukraine, the stuffing of Russian information operations immediately began to appear. Propagandists are spreading a fake that international aid, in particular weapons, is somehow not taken into account in the same way, it doesn’t get there somewhere or it is incomprehensibly used. At the same time, the Russians do not understand “where Western taxpayers are looking.”
The Deputy Minister added that she had already talked about the fact that opposition Russians are also used for informational work against Ukrainians. In order for people to start believing these opinion leaders, they first criticize the president of the terrorist country, Vladimir Putin.
And here, through “reliable” sources in the special services or authorities, they are allegedly being given inside information that weapons and other international technical assistance are getting into Ukraine somewhere in the wrong place. And solely for the sake of “fairness” they begin to make it public, – said Malyar.
She stressed that this is a deliberate information campaign to discredit Ukraine. In fact, Ukraine has long had an effective and transparent system for accounting for partners for aid received from donors and allies for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The implemented monitoring and reporting system has data on every movement and step of the weapons that come to us and other assistance. This system is fully compliant with EU and US export control rules and regulations,” the deputy minister added.
Malyar concluded that the governments of countries providing military assistance to Ukraine have no questions about the use of weapons and other assistance. Otherwise, the next batch of weapons simply would not be provided, especially since no one would have switched to help with heavy weapons.
