Yoon reportedly shared this plan with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, who confirmed that North Korean troops were deployed in the Kursk region.

— I hope that under the leadership of Secretary General Rutte, NATO will redouble its efforts to monitor and block illegal exchanges between Russia and North Korea in a spirit of solidarity and coordination, Yoon said.
According to him, the South Korean delegation will hold a briefing for the EU Political and Security Committee on Tuesday, after which it will visit Ukraine, where it will meet with intelligence and defense officials to exchange battlefield data and discuss cooperation.
Yoon stressed that illegal military cooperation between Russia and North Korea significantly undermines the rules-based international order and poses a threat to peace on the Korean Peninsula and around the world.
Last week, the South Korean president said Seoul may consider providing weapons to Ukraine.
Recently, South Korean intelligence reported that a second batch of North Korean troops will soon be sent to Russia. The first group of soldiers sent from the DPRK partly consists of 1.5 thousand elite special forces.
