Train traffic has already been resumed/”Case”

< strong _ngcontent-sc88="">A number of trains have been delayed due to maintenance work on the Polish Railways. They have almost resumed their movement.

Ukrzaliznytsia recalled that the reason for the delay of trains was damage to the contact network on the Medica-Przemysl section in Poland. As a result, at least 5 trains with Ukrainians on board could not pass.

A free transfer was organized for passengers

As of 21:34 on June 25, the movement of trains on the section Mostiska – Medica was resumed, however, repair work continued on the section of the Polish railway to Przemysl. Therefore, a free bus transfer was organized for passengers:

  • for passengers of trains No. 36/35 and No. 54/53 – from Medika station to Przemysl with the opportunity to transfer to a bus to Krakow.
  • < li>for passengers of train number 32/31 – from Medica station.

Passengers waiting to board night trains to Lviv, Kyiv and Odessa from Przemysl station were offered to get by bus shuttles from the station to Medica station with subsequent boarding on one of the night trains. Also, with tickets for night trains, you could take the Intercity + train No. 706, if there were empty seats.

For passengers who will arrive in Ukraine after a significant delay at the border, the railway workers will organize convenient transfers and, with the help of WCK partners, meals at the Lviv station. Passengers are requested to contact the head of the train or the senior steward for details, – Ukrzaliznytsia said.

At about 2:00, boarding the train Intercity + No. 706/705 Przemysl – Kyiv ended . He left Przemysl station, including passengers of the night passenger train No. 54/53 Przemysl – Kyiv, the transfer to which will take place at Mostyska station. >train No. 32/31 also with the possibility of transferring passengers to the Kyiv flight. After that, high-speed train No. 715/716 will be able to call in Przemysl. Yes, there will be no more queues at the entrance to Poland.

“We sincerely apologize and work with our Polish colleagues on more effective ways to solve similar situations,” Ukrzaliznytsia added.

Passengers were called in advance inform the train crew about any critical transfers in Lviv and Kyiv so that the company can quickly find a solution.
