A bill on deferment from conscription was introduced/Collage of 24 channels

People's deputies want to delay the draft of Ukrainians whose relatives died in the war. The relevant bill has already been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.

This was reported on the website of the legislature on the day the project appeared – June 22. The main committee that registered him is the committee on national security, defense and intelligence of the people's deputy Alexander Zavitnevich.We are talking about amending the Law “On mobilization training and mobilization.” If people's deputies support such a decision, the list of persons who are not subject to conscription during mobilization will be expanded. This is not only about those whose relatives died after February 24, but also Ukrainians who lost their relatives during the war in the Donbass.

They want to release women and men from the draft, whose close relatives died or officially went missing in the implementation of measures to protect Ukraine from the armed aggression of Russia. This will apply to the loss of:

  • husband and wife;
  • son or daughter;
  • father or mother;< /li>
  • grandparents;
  • full or half brothers or sisters.

If the bill is supported, it will enter into force from the moment of publication.

How long will it last mobilization in Ukraine

On June 17, the Defense Ministry said that while martial law is declared in the country, mobilization will continue as long as necessary. According to the speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, it is not divided into queues and stages. However, citizens are taken into the army only as much as is necessary to complete the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other defense forces. However, the volume of mobilization can grow if such a need arises.

Recently, the National Security and Defense Council denied fakes about serving subpoenas. They emphasized that this document should not be taken as a ticket to war. Now most people only need to come to the regional recruitment center to clarify personal data and determine the citizen's suitability for service.
