Russian invaders are preparing to defend the airfield in Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region, which is located almost 100 kilometers from the front line.
Even earlier, the invaders literally turned this airfield into their own military base. New satellite photos from Planet Labs, dated January 27, indicate that the Russians are now actively set to “defend” it. “
So, in the photo you can recognize 9 lethal apartments, including 8 helicopters and one drone, probably “Forpost”. Also, the activity of ground personnel and equipment was noticed at the airfield.

At the same time, analysts drew attention to one important detail: the Russians are trying to turn the airfield into a defense hub, they have already built fortifications there.
The Russian defense line consists of trenches, trenches and separate positions, in particular, shelters for equipment. The invaders have already erected anti-tank concrete barriers there, the so-called “Wagner pyramids,” the article says.

Probably, the Russians have “big plans” for the airfield

- According to the current information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russians launched small assaults in the Zaporozhye region.
- Deputy of the Zaporizhia Regional Military District Sergey Lyshenko said that Zaporozhye is an important strategic point for Russia. If the occupiers try to attack, this will draw a significant amount of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to themselves. After all, there are 20,000 Russian military in these territories ready to launch an attack.
- According to him, now the Russians have stopped bringing new military units to Zaporozhye, at the same time, a certain regrouping of forces is taking place.
- Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov also noted the activity of Russians in Zaporozhye. According to him, the invaders are trying to identify weaknesses in the defense of our defenders. Therefore, it is possible that Russia may go on the offensive in the Zaporozhye direction.
