In the Italian city of Carovigno, on July 8, 18-year-old Ukrainian student Maria Bugayeva, who disappeared on July 4, was indeed found dead. One version is suicide.

MFA confirms death of Maria Bugaeva in Italy
— According to the Consulate General of Ukraine in Naples, a Ukrainian citizen born in 2007, who disappeared on July 4 in the city of Carovigno, was found dead on July 8. The process of identifying her is currently underway. The probable cause of death is suicide, — the commentary says.

The diplomats also sent a request to the Commune and the Carovigno Police Department for more detailed information.
A representative of the consulate has already established contact with the mother of the deceased, Maria Bugaeva.
The day before, Italian media reported that 18-year-old Ukrainian student Maria Bugaeva, who disappeared on July 4, had been found dead.
The girl was hanged with a sheet in a wooded area about 1 km from the tourist village where she worked.
Before disappearing, the Ukrainian woman transferred funds to her brother’s card and left her phone, passport, and a sheet of paper with several mobile numbers in the room.
