Businessman Vladislav Bakalchuk has been arrested in Russia for opening fire in the Romanov Dvor business center on September 18. It is known that the incident occurred near the office of the Wildberries online store. The building of the journalism faculty of Moscow State University and the Kremlin are located next to it.

Bakalchuk was detained on September 19 and is now accused of killing 2 people. There are currently two suspects in the case, each of whom is accusing the other.

The media adds that Bakalchuk is the ex-husband of Russia's richest woman, Tatyana Bakalchuk. The couple divorced in July 2024, and then public scandals began. Tatyana is the owner of the Wildberries marketplace, and she announced plans to merge with the outdoor advertising company Russ Group.

Bakalchuk arrived at the meeting, and, according to him, it was the office employees who opened fire. At the same time, the owner of Wildberries claims that it was her ex-husband and his people who tried to seize the office, and no meetings were planned.

In total, 2 people were killed and 7 more were injured as a result of the shooting. Among the wounded, as reported in Russian media, there are two law enforcement officers.
