Some subway lines are flooded, and two subway lines are partially suspended. Train traffic to Austria was also severely disrupted.

The bodies of two people who had drowned in their homes were later found. Rescuers found the body of a 70-year-old man in Untergrafendorf in the municipality of Beheimkirchen (St. Pölten-Land district) and an 80-year-old man in Hebersdorf in the market town of Sierndorf (Korneuburg district).
