Filtration measures and investigative actions were reported in Balakleya at the State Bureau of Investigation. It is reported that the purpose of the events is “to prevent the subversive activities of the Russians and their apostates.”

According to the DBR, law enforcement officers carefully work out information about persons who collaborated with the Russian invaders during the temporary occupation.
