Day of mourning announced in Ternopil: they will say goodbye to the defenders who died in the Donetsk region

On Thursday, July 14, Ternopil will say goodbye to the Ukrainian defenders who died in the Donetsk region. The Heroes of Ukraine will be buried at the Mykulynets cemetery.

The details were told by its mayor of Ternopil Serhiy Nadal. He also published a list of Ternopil residents who gave their lives for Ukraine.

In the Donetsk region, courageously defending Ukraine, residents of Ternopil died:

  • Golubovich Nikolay Vasilievich (born in 1978)
  • Khrushch Oleg Petrovich (born in 1975)
  • Ermakov Alexei Leonidovich (born in 1982)
  • Wise Yaroslav Vladimirovich (born in 1972)
  • Goreida Viktor Ivanovich (born in 1977)
  • Dudar Ivan Vladimirovich (born in 1983)

Farewell to Ukrainian defenders

Serhiy Nadal said that at 11:00 a parting of the defenders would take place in the House of Sorrow on Mykulynetska Street. The last respect for the other fallen can be paid in the Church of the Holy Hieromartyr Josaphat.

Pray for the peace of their souls. Let's never forget the enemy! July 14 is declared a Day of Mourning in the Ternopil community. These days, the city will say goodbye to the soldiers who fell for the freedom of Ukraine,” Nadal stressed.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine loses up to a hundred of its defenders every day, and the number of wounded more than a few hundred per day. The situation is difficult, but we hold defensive perimeters, the president said in an interview with foreign media. He added that the most difficult thing is in the East, in particular in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions.
