Ukraine is daily preparing for accession to the European Union and strengthening the defense of the Ukrainian sky from enemy attacks.
President Vladimir Zelensky announced this following the results of November 7.

The Ukrainian leader focused special attention on relations with the European Union and emphasized that tomorrow is an important day.
“We are expecting a historic conclusion from the European Union – a report on Ukraine’s implementation of the recommendations of the European Commission. And we are already preparing our next steps – after this report. Our legislative work, strengthening state institutions. Ukraine has already come a long way in approaching the European Union, and our state is absolutely aware that acquiring membership in the European Union is a political decision of all countries that are already in the community and want to see a new state in the European Union, but this is also the work of the state itself, – he said.
Vladimir Zelensky noted that Ukraine’s work involves approaching and adapting to EU standards and community practices.
— Ukraine will be in the EU. And we will get to this point, in particular, thanks to the transformation of our state – an internal transformation that absolutely corresponds to the interests of our people. The EU for Ukraine is economic security and social stability, and Ukraine for the EU is the strengthening of the entire community,” he said.

The Ukrainian leader noted the very important work of deputies in the Verkhovna Rada, who must “continue to support the legislative initiatives necessary for our European integration.”
The president also says that at the beginning of the day he had a conference call.
— The most pressing thing: I was informed that additional NASAMS air defense systems have been put on combat duty. And that is not all. Ukraine's air shield will be further strengthened. “I thank the partners who help, and our entire team that works internationally,” he said.
During the day, the head of state was in touch with both the Minister of Defense and the commanders.
— Kupyansk, Bakhmut, Maryinka, Avdeevka, Melitopol direction, the entire south. “We have results that are worth celebrating,” he said.

- 3rd Operational Brigade of the National Guard
- and the 132nd separate reconnaissance battalion.
