Danilov knew about the war with Russia/Collage of Channel 24
Back in August 2014, the then chairman of the Luhansk regional state administration, and now the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Alexei Danilov, told how Russia was preparing for a war with Ukraine.
“We will be forced to fight with Russia”
He spoke about this on Channel 24 back then. We found a suitable video in the archives and are ready to share it with you.
I noted back in 2007 that we would be forced to fight with Russia. For what we saw and what happened in the Luhansk region and the Donetsk region testified that this would happen sooner or later, – Danilov said then.
Even then, being the head of the regional state administration, he noted that this was indicated by several factors.
“I want to note that, unfortunately, we never had borders with Russia. And for me it was a big mystery why this happens and who does everything from it everything in our power to prevent this from happening,” Danilov said.
He also noted that Russia did not attack Ukraine either under Kuchma, or under Yanukovych, or under Yushchenko. And on these conditional borders, money was simply made.
Danilov also noted that from the Russian side there were terrorist bases on the border back in 2005, there were a lot of equipment, cars that could easily pass off-road. However, then no one paid attention to them, although everyone knew about the situation on the border.

On the cooperation of the authorities of the Luhansk region with the Russian special services
He also said that in the Luhansk region even then the Russian special services felt “at home”. Although this also happened in central Ukraine.
“Russia is a complex state that has never lived without war. For them, war is like air. If they do not have an external enemy, then the leadership of the state becomes it, and they begin to sort things out within the country,” he emphasized.
A prediction from the past that will someday come true
Back in 2014, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council was convinced that Lugansk would definitely revive someday. It will be a huge and powerful industrial place.
“But for this, everyone will need to unite and do it together with the whole country. You don't have to give your own, you need to put things in order in your house and do it yourself,” he is convinced .
Russia attacked Ukraine on February 24: the main thing
- Russia cynically broke into Ukraine on a full scale on the morning of February 24.
- Kremlin dictator Putin made excuses that they did it because Ukraine and NATO were allegedly preparing an attack on Crimea, Russia and even Belarus.
- The purpose of the so-called “special operation” Putin called the need to cleanse Ukraine of “Nazis and Nazi ideology”, as well as to disarm it so that it allegedly would not be a threat to Russia.
- Now the Russian military in Ukraine is destroying entire civilians with rockets and bombs cities and villages, killing and torturing civilians, raping women and children and looting.
- The Russians destroy infrastructure and food warehouses, bypass fields to disrupt the sowing.
- In total, at the hands of the invaders in At least 226 children died in Ukraine.
- However, despite this, Ukrainians go out to protest against the occupiers, refuse to take “handouts” from the occupiers, even dying of hunger. They also heroically resist, even being under siege in Mariupol for more than 2 months without the opportunity to get help.
