Curfew to be reduced for 10 days in Prykarpattya

The curfew has been changed in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The changes will take effect from December 31, 2022 to January 10, 2023.

Changes to curfew in Prykarpattya

From December 31, the curfew will be in effect from 00:00 to 5:00. And already from January 11 – 23:00 to 5:00. It should be recalled that at present it is forbidden to be on the streets and in other public places without specially issued passes and identification documents.

Special passes are valid only within the territory where curfew has been introduced and their registration is also carried out commandant's office in the territory where the curfew was introduced.

Will there be a curfew on the New Year

As the speaker of the head of the National Police of Ukraine, Maryana Reva, said, the curfew will not be lifted on New Year's Eve. Despite the holiday, people should understand that there are curfew requirements, so the representative of the chairman of the National Police assured that law enforcement officers will check violators on New Year's Eve.

Curfew in the regions

On New Year's Eve the following restrictions will apply in the regions of Ukraine:

  • In Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Poltava, Ternopil, Cherkasy, Kyiv and Kryvyi Rih – from 23:00 to 5:00;
  • In Lviv region, Dnipropetrovsk region, Vinnitsa, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Khmelnitsky, Rivne and Chernivtsi regions – from 00:00 to 5:00;
  • In Chernihiv and Sumy regions – from 23: 00 to 4:00;
  • In Lugansk and Donbass – from 21:00 to 5:00;
  • In Kherson region – from 19:00 to 6:30.

At the same time, there is no curfew in Transcarpathia, so there will be no curfew on New Year's Eve either.
