The crossing near the Stoyanka on the Zhytomyr Highway will open next week

Temporary passage through the crossing near the village of Stoyanka near Kiev to resume traffic on the Zhytomyr highway is planned to open early next week.

This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov.

According to him, the road builders are already completing the construction of this temporary crossing. At the same time, the destroyed bridge on the highway is being dismantled.

In the territories liberated from Russian invaders, road workers are restoring critically important logistics routes. The Zhytomyr highway is one of the main transport arteries of the country,” Kubrakov noted.

The bridge near Stoyanka on this highway was destroyed in the first days of the war, because of this, transport links with Kiev were cut off.

< p>Restoration work on the Zhytomyr highway has been going on for almost a week: it is being cleaned, cleared of cars and equipment.

Recall that earlier Alexander Kubrakov spoke about the start of the restoration of the M-01 Kyiv-Chernigov road, which is an important logistical route for the entire region.
