Zelensky thanks Biden for new military aid package/Channel 24 Collage

The President of Ukraine thanked his US counterpart Joe Biden. Our head of state stressed that the provision of 4 more HIMARS and other weapons is extremely important for us.
Powerful weapons save lives
A critically important powerful weapon will save the lives of our soldiers and speed up the liberation of our land from the Russian aggressor. I appreciate the strategic friendship between our peoples. Total to victory!, Zelensky stressed.
Recall that the new aid package that Ukraine will receive from the United States includes the necessary military equipment. These are:
- 4 HIMARS MLRS,
- 36,000 105 mm caliber ammunition,
- command and staff vehicles,
- 580 Phoenix Ghost drones,
- spare parts and other supplies.

Information is circulating online that appropriate assistance cost the US $270 million. But this data was not confirmed by the White House.
Land-lease has not yet begun
Note that the corresponding assistance is included in the program introduced by Joe Biden in May. It provides allocation of 40 billion dollars for the needs of Ukraine . The lion's share of these funds is directed specifically to the military support of our state.
Earlier, the Pentagon told how much of these funds remained in the account. Now they are talking about 6 billion dollars. They will need to be mastered by September. This month marks the end of the financial year. And only after that the United States will begin to give weapons under Lend-Lease.
