Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, known for his loyalty to Russia and his “neutrality” about the war in Ukraine, unexpectedly condemned the actions of the Kremlin. The politician supported the territorial integrity of our country and opposed Moscow's invasion.
The Serbian President made such a statement during an interview. Aleksandar Vučić even stated that, despite a number of meetings with Putin in the past, he has not spoken to the Russian dictator for several months.
The teacher does not support the Russian invasion
Aleksandar Vucic made a statement that Serbia does not support Russia's war against Ukraine, moreover, it supports the territorial integrity of our state. However, the President of Serbia believes that in the war between Russia and Ukraine, “the worst is ahead.”
For us, Crimea is Ukraine, Donbass is Ukraine. It will remain so,” Vucic said.
Nevertheless, the Serbian president denied full support for Russia's actions. At the same time, Vučić acknowledged that relations between Belgrade and Moscow are still good. But the Serbian leader says that his country does not support all the decisions of the Kremlin.
At the same time, Vučić hints that Serbia does not join the sanctions against Russia, since Moscow once did not support sanctions against Belgrade .

Belgrade's position often looks neutral, because Serbia does not want to spoil relations with its friendly Russia, but the goal of Vučić and his team is to join the European Union.

But after the Russians hastily fled from the right bank of Kherson after successful military operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vucic admitted that he was mistaken when comparing Kherson and Stalingrad.
