Two people died in the Mi-2 helicopter crash in the training aviation brigade of the Kharkiv University of the Air Force.

— A Mi-2 helicopter crashed during a training flight in the university's training aviation brigade. The university family suffered an irreparable loss — the crew of the aircraft, consisting of two people, died, — the message says.
The university notes that investigators, industry experts, and specialists from a special commission of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine are working at the scene of the incident.

The institution called for refraining from assumptions and comments until the results of the investigation are made public. The university also asks for understanding regarding the disclosure of sensitive information, in accordance with established procedures and ethical standards.
This is not the first air crash at the Kharkiv Air Force University this summer. Thus, on July 27, it became known that a first-year cadet of the Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University died during a training flight on a K-10 Swift aircraft.
Recall that on August 29, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the loss of one F-16 multi-role fighter during the repelling of a massive missile attack on August 26.
