The journalist said that Kozak was taken into custody/News ONE
A comrade-in-arms of Putin's godfather Taras Kozak was declared a measure of restraint. Thus, the court decided to take him into custody.
This decision was approved by the Kyiv Pechersk Court on April 7. This was reported by journalist Mikhail Tkach.
The measure of restraint for the pro-Russian politician was chosen in the case of high treason.
Note that now Kozak is on the international wanted list. Earlier there was information that he might be hiding in Russia or Belarus.
What Kozak is suspected of
Kozak and his ally Viktor Medvedchuk are suspected in an attempt to plunder national resources in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. A notice of suspicion was announced to them on May 11, 2021.
