But, despite the joy of this success, it should be remembered that its price is the life of our soldiers.
At the same time, these losses for the Russian military are much higher, even though they defended, which means they were in a more comfortable situation. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov spoke about this on Channel 24.
The losses of Russians are almost 10 times higher
According to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Russia's losses during the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, when compared with Ukrainian ones, are 1 to 9, or even 1 to 10.
That there is, for one of our dead soldiers there are 9-10 dead Russians who broke into our land. This is a very interesting indicator, because according to the laws of war, you spend much more when attacking than when defending, – said Oleksiy Danilov. to the contrary.
“We are breaking stereotypes not only in military affairs. We are breaking stereotypes for our partners as well. They are pleasantly surprised by the quality of work of our military, our society,” says the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
He is sure that not every country Europe is capable of doing what Ukraine has done. After all, there are many cases in the history of wars when they simply laid down their arms.
The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region:
- Since the beginning of September, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have carried out in the Kharkiv region, a lightning-fast counter-offensive operation and in just a few days they were able to almost completely de-occupy the region.
- Among the liberated settlements are Izyum, Kupyansk, Balakleya and many others. After that, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky already visited Izyum on September 14.
- By the way, during the counteroffensive, the daily number of liquidated Russians increased sharply. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to capture almost a thousand enemy soldiers and hundreds of pieces of equipment.
