Combat work of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson region
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are carrying out counterattacks on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region and are establishing a foothold there, said Natalya Gumenyuk, spokesperson for the Operational Command South.
According to her, it is necessary to protect the residents of Kherson from the artillery attacks of the invaders, so Ukrainian units want to drive the Russians away at least 30 km from the city.
Gumenyuk drew attention to the fact that this bandwidth does not yet exist, so the Ukrainian Armed Forces are launching fire strikes at Russian positions.
Russian attack in Odessa region
In the Odessa region, an enemy drone hit an energy infrastructure facility. An administrative building there was damaged and one civilian staff member was injured, the Southern Defense Force said.

Carrier strike on the border with Poland
On the border of Ukraine with Poland, about 2.8 thousand trucks were blocked at three checkpoints, the movement of which was restricted by Polish carriers. This number has increased compared to the previous day.
Speaker of the State Border Service of Ukraine Andrey Demchenko shared that negotiations between the Ukrainian side and Polish carriers have not yet yielded results. The protesters demand that the requirements be met in order to cancel the transport visa-free regime for Ukraine.
UAV attack on a Russian aircraft plant in Smolensk
An attack drone attacked an aircraft plant in Smolensk, Russia, which produces X-59 missiles. According to Russian publications, the drone was suppressed by electronic warfare forces and fell on the territory of the Smolensk aircraft plant.

Trial against Trump
Another US court has ruled that former US President Donald Trump can run for president despite the January 2021 Capitol storming case.
According to foreign publications, an attempt to ban Trump from running was rejected. It is unclear whether the Civil War amendment to the U.S. Constitution barring mutineers from holding public office applies to the presidency.
Fake Russian propaganda about a Ukrainian Armed Forces pilot
A representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andrei Yusov, denied the propagandists’ falsehood that an allegedly active pilot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine flew to the Russian side.
