Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump recently had a telephone conversation. The politicians discussed the situation in Ukraine and the importance of resolving the conflict with Russia.

Republican Party member Boris Pincus told 24 Kanal that Zelensky's conversation with Trump was successful. He believes that the Republican presidential candidate is committed to a just peace in Ukraine.

Boris Pincus noted that Trump told Zelensky two very important things in the telephone conversation. First – stated that the assertion that if he becomes president, he will allegedly sacrifice Ukrainian territories to achieve peace with Russia is untrue.

Second – during agreements with the aggressor country, the Republican Party will be obliged to pay tribute to the Ukrainians who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for independence.

He noted that Pompeo is an adviser to Donald Trump and if he wins the presidential election, he will be actively involved in the implementation of the plan, which concerns Russia's war against Ukraine.
